Adoption Update

Our home study is finished and being reviewed by our agency. We will hopefully have it in hand at the end of the month and can start the long slow immigration process. It’s hard not to worry about the US changing their stance on international adoption, but it’s out of our control and we have to keep hope and focus on the things we can control.

Cue fundraising. Adoption is expensive and I don’t know anyone who goes into it with $45K in-hand. Because we are not associated with a church we are ineligible for most adoption grants. The few we can apply for we absolutely will, but all require us to be further along in the process. You helped us raise $40K for Tippi’s adoption (unfathomable generosity) and we are humbly asking you to help us again.
